It is that time of the year when schools are closed, the sun is out and everyone is in need of that much deserved break. A lot of times we underestimate the need for holidays in our working routine and sometimes work nonstop with breaks only when the offices are shut (i.e. Christmas and new year breaks). This is definitely not a healthy lifestyle.
Personally, I don’t like the idea of flying but I see a great need in exploring other cultures, getting to know how other people live and see things. I must add also that I like to go to unusual places. I am not keen on going to the holiday hotspots that have been continually saturated year in year out (not saying there is anything wrong with going to these places, I just don’t prefer it). I recently saw a friend and her family having a fabulous time in Israel and visiting all the historical sites – to me, that’s exciting and different!. So, this year, just like last year, I will be exploring somewhere different, close to the Baltic sea and I am expecting it to be an educating experience. Will hopefully be able to tell you about it.
I hope you all find the time to go out somewhere for a break this summer. Does not need to be an expensive holiday or a trip abroad. Just some time away from work could be all the magic you need to be rejuvenated for the rest of the year and the cold months to come. It could be time with family, it could be visiting loved ones you have not spent time with in a while. A break from work will do your body, spirit and mind some good.
