5 of the world’s most successful people who went back to school

It is true that learning never stops. It is also never late to go back to school or to pursue your dreams. People have dropped out of school for different reasons and if you have dreams to go back to school for whatever reason – you can still do it! Here is a list of 5 people you probably never knew dropped out of school but went back to study even after achieving good fortune and still managed to graduate.

1.Steven Spielberg, an Oscar-winning director and producer eventually graduated from the California State University in 2002. This is after dropping out of a Bachelor’s degree in Film and Electronic Arts to pursue a successful career in film.

3. Michael Jordan, the famous basketball player, left the University of North Carolina in his junior year to pursue basketball. His commitment to education made him return to college in 1985 to finish his Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Geography.

4. Denzel Washington attended Fordham University in New York City, initially hoping to become a doctor. This was before he became an Oscar winning actor. During the time when he dropped out of school, someone suggested the idea of acting to him and he went back to the same university to study drama.

5. Elisabeth Shue dropped out of Harvard to pursue her acting career. She was only a semester short of graduating. She returned to Harvard in 2000 to complete her degree in Politics and Government.

I hope these successful people can motivate and reassure you that it is never too late to pursue your dreams. If that is what you want to do, enrol in that course or degree. We can do all things if we set our minds to it.
